Hailey Fang founded NOT JUST A LABEL in 2014 as a startup fashion brand in China, with a clear vision to create modern women's fashion that bridges Eastern heritage and Western sophistication. Graduating from Tsinghua University's prestigious Design Major, Hailey developed a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. This unique educational background became the foundation for her distinctive design approach that would later define the brand's identity.
Throughout her career, Hailey has led design direction and developed multiple seasonal collections, each telling a unique story through fabric, silhouette, and detail. Her hands-on approach to every aspect of the business—from initial sketch to final garment—ensures that each piece meets her exacting standards of excellence.
Based in Los Angeles, Hailey manages end-to-end business operations including design, sourcing, and production. She has established strong supplier relationships across Asia and Europe, managed small-batch production to maintain exclusivity, and developed robust online sales channels and brand marketing strategies that connect NOT JUST A LABEL directly with discerning customers worldwide.
